  • BOX 13 member, Dennis Harper and former member, Mark Schatz, are among the artists in the current McNay Museum exhibition, New Image Sculpture, that runs through May 8, 2011.
  • Check out the debut of the Blaffer‘s Window into Houston on 110 Milam Street on view through June 22, where BOX member Elaine Bradford has reimagined the windows as dioramas displaying the habitats of her crocheted creatures, a collection of animal specimens “discovered” by the fictitious fringe scientist Dr. Thomas Harrigan during his explorations into a dimension known as “The Sidereal.”
  • Works by BOX members Elaine Bradford and Emily Link are included in the Visual Art Institute and GARFO Art Center’s exhibition, Press Plush – a survey of contemporary soft sculpture, textile and fiber art opening April 9.
