  • Heather Bause‘s proposal The Art of Wallpaper was selected by Art League Houston during their most recent proposal review. Heather will be wallpapering the bathrooms at ALH in 2011.
  • Elaine Bradford and Emily Link‘s work will be featured in the exhibition More Than Plush, an exhibition focusing on four artists working outside the term “Fiber Artist” at galleryHOMELAND in Portland, OR, December 10, 2010 – January 30, 2011.
  • Houston Modern Luxury included Elaine Bradford in their list of “Ten Artists to Watch” in their December 2010 issue.
  • ArtScouts Houston and BOX 13 artists Elaine Bradford, Emily Link and Dennis Nance, along with C.H. JoAnn Park and Jill Pangallo, were selected as recipients of a grant from The Idea Fund for their summer art camp project, Nohegan East.
  • Congratulations to BOX 13 members Kathy Kelley and Kia Neill for their selection from 800 applicants to participate among 50 artists in the 2011 Texas Biennial, April 9 – May 14, 2011.  BOX 13 Artspace will also host an exhibition in conjunction with the biennial this spring!
  • Jenny Schlief‘s curatorial project, Perfect Space, is currently featured on Artlies.org.
  • Emily Sloan is hosting a public wake, funeral pyre and funeral food potluck at Gallery 1724, January 1, 2011 at 8PM.Guests are encouraged to participate through contributions to the funeral pyre, funeral food potluck and appropriate funeral attire.
