Milk Money Honey | Melinda Laszczynski
Window BOX

Part window display and part peep show, Milk Money Honey is an installation of found objects, assemblage, and cast off studio materials. Many of these things are meant to be disposable- inflatables forgotten after a summer party; scraps of paint peeled from mixing jars; plastic toys from the dollar store that never stood a chance. Collectively, these items have a mundane magic to them, combined to heighten their cheap thrills and humor.

Melinda Laszczynski received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Houston in 2015 and her BFA in Painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2010. She was recently a resident in Lawndale Art Center’s Artist Studio Program. Her work has been exhibited at Cardoza Fine Art, Gallery Homeland, Galleri Urbane, and Inman Gallery.  Laszczynski was included in the 2015 Amarillo Museum of Art Sculpture Biennial and New American Paintings MFA Annual #111 (2014) and #123 (2016).
