BOX 13 ArtSpace is pleased to present three exhibitions opening December 5, 2020. In the Front BOX, Raymond Compton delves further into their KUMQUAT universe in a campy exploration of the body with the exhibition Hoagie! In the Back BOX, Stephanie Concepcion Ramirez’s solo exhibition vaya pues combines video, photo, and storytelling in an immersive installation. In the Window BOX, the group show A Very Short Engagement: Fellows in Craft features Joan Clare Brown, Hong Hong, Nicolle LaMere, and Kirstin Willders. The artists in the exhibition are current residents in the Artist Residency Program at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, designed to offer time and space for craft artists to focus on their creative work and interact with the public.

No Opening Reception will be held. Visitors are invited to view the exhibitions during Gallery Hours on Saturdays from 1 – 5PM from December 5, 2020 – February 6, 2021 at BOX 13 ArtSpace, 6700 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011. Visitors are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and complete a brief contact tracing survey before entry.
